ALEPPO has about 1 million inhabitants. Because of its dull colored stones and the surrounding countrysides does not contribute a joyful appearance but only the grooves of the green pistachio trees overcome the dullness; thatīs why it is called in Arabic "Esh-Shahbah" which means the Greyish.
