The very colorful black continent....this can only be AFRICA!
No corner of this continent is no worth but to keep beautiful memories....
The fact that photography is one of my ways to document and to
capture memories and unique experiences also risky adventures that
happened in my life, In this page, I´ve assembled some of my favorite photographs during my first travel in some parts of
Africa.
This happened in September 2002.
At first I was very skeptical to visit Africa. For me it is unknown.
Nothing special inspired me to wonder and ponder about the continent. All I knew is that before I have to visit in this place
I must undergo lots of immunizations and these of course made me already down.
I hate vaccinations not only because they are painful but more because of the side effects. In my mind was only this "yellow
fever" vaccination. It must be terrible. But then, I was
persuaded at last by one of my comrade that I decided to submit myself to do and to undergo all these requirements.
To tell you ...it was not so bad as what I thought! Until now I´m still alive! Since the
first time I step on the grounds of Africa and saw the wide wild terribly beautiful contrasts between heaven and earth, the
blue colors of the sky, the perfect green colors of the wild plants and trees
and the salmon-like colored earth, the wild animals around and the friendly natural characters of the people I met
in almost all parts where I visited, the perfect combinations of all these natural
phenomena impressed me so much that I started to learn to like and even learn to love AFRICA. Absolutely, it is the perfect place for photography!
For those who didn´t visit this continent yet, I hope, after seeing some of the photos I am presenting
here in my Homepage will learn to develop interest and start to explore not only the white side of the continent.
